Melissa Gorga "Don't Believe Everything You Read" Melissa thinks everything is fine with Teresa.
When Kathy comes over to show me the magazine, I can see she is upset and hurt about it, and I understand that everyone is concerned. But I have to be honest here, if it looks like I’m not interested in talking about it, it’s because I’m not. At this point, I think that everyone has reached out to Teresa and asked her how she is doing. She always insists she’s fine, so until she comes to us and says she is upset or scared about the bankruptcy or Joe’s possible “going away,” I am going to react to what Teresa says to me and not what I read in a magazine. On the outside, it seems that things are good -- a new carport, new closets, a new garage/apartment, and new furniture in the house -- no signs of anything being wrong. Even during her fight with Jacqueline, Teresa says everything is fine and she laughs. I don’t want to seem like I’m disregarding why Jacqueline is upset, I do understand that Jacqueline is looking for a true, open, and honest friendship. So now you’re caught up to me: finally Jacqueline and Caroline say horrible things to my face instead of behind my back. They start out behind my back though, and you can still see I had no idea -– I really thought Jacqueline was a great friend. Now that doesn’t mean I thought she was a perfect person or a perfect friend. You’re never going to agree with everything your friends do, but you can’t live their life for them. I accept my friends with all their quirks and faults. I’m very loyal like that. And I stay loyal until they give me a reason not to be. You saw how I operate on Celebrity Apprentice. I give people my heart right away, I trust them, and I’m loyal. I don’t live with my head in the sand -– I see people’s flaws. I don’t like everything my friends do or say. But one, I don’t judge or reprimand them to their face because it’s not my job to tell them they’re screwing up; it’s just my job to love them. And two, I don’t talk about them behind their back. As far as the fight on the deck, please take note that before Caroline showed up, Teresa and I were going back and forth for 5 long hours! I was exhausted at that point. I had NO IDEA that Caroline was going to show up. It was not meant to be an ambush at all, although I do understand how it must have felt to Teresa. I felt like I needed to get her to open her eyes to the reality of certain situations she was creating, and I wanted her to be real with me for once and for all to my face. I wanted all my questions answered. I couldn't take it anymore. There were a lot of things said on the deck that day that you didn’t see. What's important and all that matters is that Teresa and I know what was said and all you need to know was that it was the turning point in our relationship. READ MORE
Caroline Manzo "World War III" Caroline thinks people need to ease up on all the social media hate.
I’m just going to say this -- you’ve all been watching and clearly there’s a great divide amongst the viewers. That’s fine and obviously expected. I’m not going to break things down and explain myself, you’ve got eyes and ears and I’m sure are more than capable of coming to your own conclusions; and whatever they are I respect them, that’s what makes the world go round. I have one simple request and that’s to stop the hate and arguing on social media sites. The show is meant to entertain, not cause World War III. A healthy debate is fine, hate is not acceptable; not towards me, Teresa, or any of the other ladies and especially amongst the viewers! Play nice with the other children! READ MORE
