 Andy Warhol's "Peaches" (Space Fruit)  print (1979) was auctioned off for $14,000. The lucky bidders? Sandra Bullock's agents, who bought the artwork as a gift for the actress' 1-year-old son, Louis Bardo.

"I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f-cks and gifting my son with his first Warhol," a radiant Bullock joked. (Proceeds from the auction benefit amFAR's AIDS research.) US

Sonja Morgan To Host 2011 H.U.G. Award Gala Honoring Ann Deal

New York City - The Intimate Apparel Square Club (IASC), the New York-based nonprofit group dedicated to raising funds for charities, announced that Sonja Morgan, one of the glamorous stars of Bravo's hit reality series "Real Housewives of New York City" will be the celebrity emcee of the 2011 H.U.G. Award Gala honoring Ann Deal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of intimate apparel and accessories manufacturer Fashion Forms. The IASC's annual fundraiser on November 2, 2011 will benefit pediatric services at NYU Langone Medical Center and the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine.

"We are thrilled to have Sonja Morgan as our emcee," said IASC President Norma Reinhardt Mascarotti. "She brings glamour, charm and a passion for charitable work to our H.U.G. Gala and we're excited to have her at our event honoring Ann Deal of Fashion Forms. It's going to be a fabulous night of fundraising to benefit the children of Rusk Institute."

The 2011 H.U.G. Award gala will bring together leaders in the fashion and retail industries at the New York hot spot 230 Fifth to raise funds for the IASC's campaign in support of pediatric treatment and rehabilitation, which has raised over $4 million for programs at Rusk Institute and Tisch Hospital at NYU Langone Medical Center.

According to a show insider “Taylor is not going to be on Dancing with the Stars. It is not going to happen,” the source said.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline and Albert Manzo appeared on The Gayle King Show and shared their reactions to the insults (jokes) in Teresa Giudice's cookbook Fabulicious.

When Adrienne invited all the girls to Spa Day at her house I was excited. I know she has state-of-the-art equipment and I was looking forward to trying it out. Adrienne went above and beyond as a hostess. The food and treatments were incredible. That machine really did make a difference with my skin too.

Now on to the rest of the day. . .I always struggle with explaining my relationship with my sister Kim. I am not sure why I am not always able to be myself when I am around her. I now observe our relationship as though I am an outsider when I watch the show. I can see that I am extremely uncomfortable . When my sister says something that makes me uncomfortable, I laugh. I guess it's nervous laughter. I feel very badly about what happened on Game Night. I made a lot of mistakes. In addition to that, I think I would have stood by my sister no matter what she said or did at that point in our relationship. I have had many people Tweet me saying they couldn't believe I hid Brandi's crutches. Anyone who saw the show knows that it was Kim who said she hid Brandi's crutches (on Game Night, Kim told me she had put them back when I asked her what she did with them). As a sister, I guess I am immediately guilty by association -- which, I think is why I get so nervous.

I felt so torn on Spa Day. I wanted to talk to Brandi and be able to get past all this, but I was worried Kim would be angry with me. I was right. Kim was angry with me. I have struggled to piece our relationship back together for so long now, and I am afraid to rock the boat. I felt I was in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation. I'm not making excuses, I'm just giving you some insight as to where my mind was.

On Game Night, I was told Brandi had questioned Kim's behavior to Camille when we had stepped away. That is what I was referring to when I talked to Brandi on Spa Day. I understand Kim being upset by Brandi's accusations, but we all made mistakes that night. I know, I personally am full of regret. A lot of you have asked me if I apologized to Brandi. The answer is yes, I have. You will see how it plays out. . .

I am an honest person. I whole heartedly admit I was wrong on Game Night. Which is why, I have to admit, that I was disappointed seeing Camille say she knows what it's like to be the "target." In Season 1 with Camille, I was strictly defending myself and telling the truth. If I remember correctly, I was the "target" at the Dinner Party From Hell. Of course, I could have handled things differently, but I stand by everything I said.

This week's episode got me thinking about apologies and when and why you should make one. When I contemplate whether to apologize to someone, I try to put myself in the other person's shoes to understand how I hurt the person, because that is never my intention. If my negative action was coming from a bad place, I generally think I should say I'm sorry. This is not just for the other person's benefit, but also to continue an effort in becoming a better person. There is an exception for me, and that is if a person insults me the first time I meet them for no reason in a personal way.
That said. . .let's just say. . .I'm not sorry for anything that happened on game night. (Wink.)

De Pury is Chairman and Chief Auctioneer of Phillips de Pury & Company, the leading global auction house for Contemporary Art, Design and Photography, and still owns a significant share in the business after selling the majority in October 2008 to the Mercury Group, Russia's largest luxury retail company. Between 2010 and 2011, De Pury sold some of the most important works of Contemporary Art to come on the market, such as Andy Warhol's masterpieces, the portrait of Elizabeth Taylor for $27 million and 'Men in her Life' for $63 million.

De Pury joined Phillips in 2001 when his art advisory firm, the Geneva-based de Pury & Luxembourg Art, which he had started in 1997 with Daniella Luxembourg – merged with them

A spirited and highly successful career at Sotheby's preceded this chapter. De Pury was appointed Chairman of Sotheby's Switzerland in 1986 and later became Chairman of Sotheby's Europe. This function, which he performed with his inimitable zeal and enthusiasm -- coupled with sharp business acumen -- saw him conduct important sales all over the world. These included the Thurn und Taxis sales in Geneva and Regensburg, the Margrave of Baden sales in Baden-Baden, the Palazzo Corsini sales in Florence, part of the Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy sales in New York, and all major Impressionist and Modern Art evening sales in both New York and London since 1994. He was also the initiator and auctioneer for the historical and first international auction to be held in 1988 by Sotheby's in Moscow

From 1979-86, de Pury was curator of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection and organized numerous exhibitions not only in the Villa Favorita in Lugano, Switzerland, but also in major museums around the world. He was also responsible for the coordination of four key exchanges between Baron H.H. Thyssen-Bornemisza -– then the most important collector of his time -– and the State Hermitage, the Pushkin Museum, the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, and the Kremlin Museum in Russia. Kelly Bensimon just announced that she'll soon be launching her own line of shoes called  
'Kelly' by Kelly Killoren Bensimon.
"I want to make it super chic but incredibly affordable because I feel like why can't fashion be democratic?"
She'll start with a collection of ballet flats set to debut in the spring, according to E! For each pair of the $39.99 flats sold, $3 will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Fund.

"The reason I am doing this is because I'm the mother of two girls," Bensimon said.
"If I can put my name out there on something creative and help generate money to find a cure for this disease then I'm going to do it. I've seen the courage and I've seen the hope and I've seen amazing women persevere through such horrible situations. It's really exciting to be able to help in any way."

 "This is the start of a bigger Kelly collection," says Kel. "This is my first huge milestone and I'm hoping to bring all this great product and be able to be as charitable as possible on the largest scale possible. That's my goal. That's what I want."  Read More
