The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 3 premieres tonight (9-10:30 PM, Bravo) with episode 1 “In the Name of the Father.” The drama-packed, 90-minute episode will introduce the two new housewives, both relatives of Teresa Giudice – Melissa Gorga, who is married to Joe Gorga, Teresa’s brother, and Kathy Wakile, who is Teresa’s cousin. In the first episode, the family prepare for a christening.
Speaking to E!Online, Teresa said that viewers will see a whole new side to her this season. "You're going to see a totally different side of me. It's really sad," said the Jersey housewife. "I cry a lot on the show and it's very hard for me." And today Teresa Tweeted, "RHONJ premiere tonight. Saw it this weekend...unbelievably heartbreaking...wow..."
Teresa Giudice is having her own premiere party tonight at Tribecca as she launches her new book Fabulicious. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The National Breast Cancer Foundation. According to the flyer there will be a red carpet, fashion shows, star performances and celebrity surprises. Caroline Manzo is having a huge party at The Brownstone to kick off the season 3 premiere. Fans can get up close and personal with the Jersey Housewives. General admission tickets (may be sold out) $75, which include access to the viewing party and movie theater concessions.VIP tickets cost $200 and include earlier entry to an open bar and private cocktail party meet and greet with the Housewives and reserved seating. Caroline Manzo tweeted that there will be another special guest at the event. Real Housewives of New York's Simon van Kempen will be performing his new song “I Am Real.” Proceeds from the event go to the Wounded Warrior Foundation, an organization which assists wounded military heroes.
